UEC RF-Microwave History

July 20, 2015: US Technologies acquires Broadband Wireless, a Reno, Nevada-based company that specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of state-of-the-art RF-microwave amplifiers used predominantly in the aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and medical industries.

December 1, 2016: UST Technologies acquires Aldetec, a Sacramento, California-based company that specializes in the design, engineering, development, testing, and manufacturing of state-of-the-art, customized RF-microwave amplifiers, up/down converters, modulators, DLVAs, and synthesizers from 20MHz to 40GHz used in the military, defense, telecommunications, and space industries.

September 20, 2020: Arotech Corporation, a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity Group, L.P., acquires US Technologies. This addition brought an expertise in integrated microwave assemblies, RF amplifier equipment, and power supplies, among other specializations, to UEC Advanced Electronics, a division of Arotech.

January 2022: UEC Advanced Electronics establishes its UEC RF-Microwave business unit, consisting of Aldetec and Broadband Wireless Technologies, under the direction of Suresh Nair (President 2021 – Current).
